Content Update April 6th, 2024 (Celebrating 9th Birthday of the Website)
There was a time, when the world for the visually impaired community was a daunting and isolating place. There was lack of awareness, unavailability of required software, and resources for the blind were scattered. Many felt lonely, unable to share their experiences or seek guidance from others who understood their struggles. They were unable to fully participate in society or pursue their dreams.
But amidst the darkness, there was hope. The seeds of change were sown, and the stage was set for a revolution. 9 Years ago, the foundation was laid of the transformative platform of Blind Help Project.
As we commemorate the birthday of the website, we are filled with immense gratitude for the journey we've shared together. Over these years, Blind Help Project has been more than just a website; it's been a beacon of hope and a lifeline for visually impaired individuals seeking access to essential software, resources, and guidance.
In honor of this milestone, we're thrilled to announce some exciting updates. Today, we reintroduce WhatsApp groups, which were discontinued in favor of Telegram. After careful consideration and listening to your valuable feedback, we decided why not run both forums simultaneously.
We also have the usual content updates, but this time it all has a beautiful numeric sequence. Let’s start. 1, 2, 3. WhatsApp groups are returning after three years. 4, 5, 6. We added six new software into the pool. 7, 8, 9. The website is nine years old today. 10, 11, 12. The YouTube channel got the edition of twelve new videos. Hmm, what a slow walk. Let’s speed up by four times. 16, 20, 24. The number of software updated to latest version is 24. That’s it, because the year is also 2024.
