Greetings,
Welcome to the fourth of many sessions of "Introducing NVDA" Webinar Recording series. BHP conducted a webinar aimed at amplifying Non Visual Desktop Access screen reading solution for Microsoft Windows to the audience of South Asia on July 11th, 2021.
Beside very low per-capita income, visually challenged community in this part of the world is heavily dependent on commercial and super costly screen readers for performing their day to day computer tasks since decades. Definitely the affordability of those screen readers is most of the time not possible and people are forced to use, not so good methods.
NVDA however, is a very good answer to this problem. Currently the advanced computer users here have either completely shifted to NVDA or started using it on their own.
However, the beginners are being trained on existing popular screen readers in institutions and older generation of users are not ready to accept the new option. This webinar aimed at bridging the gap and presenting NVDA as fully functional and feature pack solution and convince the audience to try it out.
NVDA is quite nifty when it comes to the functionality. If you are not that much of a tech savvy sort of person, you will be surprised to learn how easy it becomes for you to let a friend or a colleague access your computer remotely, as well as you having access to your computer remotely through other devices with NVDA. in this fourth part of our series, we will be finding out how we can use remote extension with NVDA. Meet Waqas Ramzan, Abdul Muhamin and Mehwish Ramzan as they come forth to instruct you with the effective use of NVDA Remote functionality. Stick around to learn more.
