Have you ever want to copy the data from an audio cd or a data CD and save it in your computers so that you can view it without having the CD or you wish to burn or copy the data from your computers to an audio CD or a data CD so that you can easily share to your friends without using pen drive or internet connection? If your answer is yes, in this article, I will teach you how you can easily copy data (only for audio files) from a CD and burn data in to a CD by just using the Window Media Player that currently available in all Microsoft Windows computers. Copying or Ripping a  CD

1. Open Windows Media Player.
2. Insert a CD into your computer's optical drive. You must have a computer with an optical drive to copy a CD.
3. Press “rip CD” button
4. Press “OK” button.
5. All done. The contents of the CD will be copied to your PC.

Burning a CD

1. Open Windows Media Player on a PC with a drive that's capable of burning CDs.
2. Choose the “burn” tab at the top of the window.
3. Click on “burn options” on the right side of the window
4. Select a format for the CD you want to burn. Click on “audio CD” to burn the disc as an audio CD that can be played in any CD player. In this format, you will be able to store about 80 minutes of music on the disc. You also can click on “data CD” to burn the disk in a data format that stores music files in MP3 format. This format allows us to store up to eight hours of music storage but can only be played on players that can read data CDs.
5. Insert a blank, recordable CD into the drive.
6. Select the songs you want to put on the CD. To do so, simply press control + o to brows the song that you wish to insert it in to the CD.
7. If you wish to remove a song from the burn list, you can do that by press application or right-click and choose “remove from list” option in the context menus.
8. Press the “start Burn “ button. The burning process will take several minutes, dependent on the format and how many songs you're burning. Once finished, your CD will eject automatically.
