Welcome to DragonPong!

DragonPong is a multiplayer game of pong. You either create, or connect to, a server and pong it out with your friend!

starting

Simply extract the zip file. Within the folder are several .bat files, all starting the game in various languages provided by players of the game. Starting the main executable runs the game in English.

Use up and down arrows to select a menu option and press enter to select one.

Host a server

To host a server, you will need to have the port of your choice forwarded in your router. There are many ways to do this, including the MiniUPNP program or the configuration page on your router. If those are not available to you, you can install the Hamachi virtual private network program and join a network with your friend. Hamachi will give you a separate IP which the connecting party will need to input in place of your actual public IP.

Join a server

Simply enter the IP and port of the server to connect to.

Selecting game mode

This only applies to the server host. Upon connection of your other party, you will be asked to select a game mode. The short game runs for 11 goals, the long game for 21.

Character select

Characters give some humor to the game. They have different remarks they will make throughout play. When asked to choose your character, select it with left and right, and press enter to select.
