Seeing Assistant AlarmGPS is an application developed by Transition Technologies S.A. in order to support blind and low vision people in everyday life. Application provides advanced location services and alarm location.

Seeing Assistant AlarmGPS has been developed in close co-operation with visually impaired people in order to address their needs as well as possible.

Features:

• the ability to assign to the alarm: different signals, distances to sound notifications, and the number of its repetitions
• searching for the location of the alarm
• "Where am I" function
• position monitoring
• alarm sharing – using GPX format

Please bear in mind that this application uses background updates to track the location even when minimized. Continued use of GPS running in the background can significantly decrease battery life.
